Default ZTX449 npn trasnsistor equivalent

Hi,

I am looking for an equivalent part for ztx449. I know nothing about electronics. Does anyone know if BC635 is a suitable replacement ? This part is used as part of the digital voltage regulation for an AudioNote Dac 1.1. I have managed to fry mine but cannot get an exact replacement in my part of the world. Thanks.

Regards,

Hi,
the BCs are lacking in speed and gain, judging by the spec sheets.
