Howdy, Anyone got a good way to mount motor run caps on top of a chassis. I want to stand them up so the terminals protrude underneath. Figured I would just drill holes for the terms to go thru the chassis, but have not devised a way to secure the capacitor. They do have the standard little lip. Thanks, Jay

can you source the clamping bands of the correct diameter?
The bands are quite thin steel (usually plated) and could be re-shaped slightly if not exactly right.
If so, then clamp underneath the panel and glue the lugs to the underside, or bolt if the unsightly countersunk screwheads are not a problem.
