Helo To All
Not so long ago I have bought the T-AMP. And as any other person who did so I want to tweak and make some modifications Going throughout the forum I understood that replacing the potentiometer is a good place to start but therein lies the problem there are about million of potentiometer vendors and the prices go from 1$ to 30$ and beeing a newbie in this field doesn't exactly help. From what I understand the potentiometer supposed to be 50Kohm I would very much apreciate your help and advice Thanks in advance |

You need a 47k or 50k dual log (music) taper potentiometer. The differences then largely boil down to physical size and quality. The Alps Blue like this is a popular choice and widely available, or there are plenty cheaper ones like these conductive plastic tracked that would be OK.
"the prices go from 1$ to 30$ ..." The existing pot is more down at 10 cents so virtually anything is an improvement. Easy way is for you to give us your favourite online supplier and we can maybe pick out a few. |
