I am trying to buy or build a linear regulated power supply taking 110V AC and outputting 5V 3A minimum, with decent transformer. This is to provide power to an audio component, so it has to be built with quality components and provide clean power.
What I found so far are power supplies that look too industrial if you know what I mean. I have to consider esthetics in addition to the functionality. Would anyone know where to get a DIY kit for such power supply that would include some sort of decent looking aluminum enclosure, or at least a place where such enclosures can be purchased? |
