(They're cheap from HK via eBay) a lower priced unit (for broadly similar prices, with analogue of course cheaper) which is preferable - analogue or digital ?

Yes I now think analogue Radio Shack with correction table available is the way to go. Can you elaborate a little on the built in preamp, eg how much, what benefit is the preamp? Thanks |
