Analog SSM2404S switch
Do you know the chip: Analog SSM2404S
Do you know if we can use it at +-5.0v only? http://www.analog.com/en/prod/0%2C28...2404%2C00.html  The spec specify 5.5v to 13v but... I've a dream. ;-) . |

I'm using this for my preamp project, and the answer to your question is NO. I did some quick tests, and only one out of ten switch did work some times at 5V

I plan to use a small PSU with LM7xL12 chips but as this is to replace an CD4053 inside an existing circuit, I'm not happy to add all these components... Another solution will be to use +15v and negative to ground but I'm not sure that solution will be good. Do you know if positive and negative pins need to be decoupled with a small caps? The datasheet is realy "basic". . |
