Came across this, it has a single value written on the case but has three leads (had to fix the scan).
I'd like to know what it is if anyone knows? |

I've looked at dozens of sites including Jensencapacitors, but no info on these.

From the value it looks like a motor starter capacitor, or something similar?. If you check the connections I'm presuming either two of them will be connected together, or one won't be connected at all - the three connections are used just for mechanical stability when mounted.

Hmm, plausible. BTW the case is 1 5/8" long. My research tells me so far that other mixed dielectric caps are paper and polypropylene.

that may be a dual capacitor with two sections and a common negative or ground connection....
