Anyone know where I can buy a push button on/off switch with a 1/2 inch metal cap that I can use for the preamp I'm building???

Kestrel200:
Look for vandal-resistant switches, which are typically used in applications like elevator buttons and other exposed or unsecured locations. Most vandal resistant switches are available in both blank and illuminated versions. ITW Switches has a couple of series that might appeal to you (http://www.itwswitches.com). ITW is distributed by Digikey. Alternatively, check out the Bulgin line of anti-vandal switches (http://www.bulgin.co.uk). Bulgin is distributed by Mouser. Regards, Scott |
