Hey guys,
I was just wondering if anyone knows a source of that HV paint or "dope" for insulating tube socket terminals, etc. inside of equipment ? It seems like I've seen 2 versions,A black rubbery like stuff, and a thinner red paint type stuff. (I've heard ladies Nail Polish works well also, but i'm not sure if I trust it?) I've got a tube amp project with +600V and -590V supplies, and I want to _make sure_ everything is well insulated, etc. Also I have to "dope" the octal socket pins,to prevent them from arcing over. I just can't seem to find the stuff?!
