Default What is an MK3 resistor

I need to make a modification to my Audio Reasearch LS2 to lower the gain.
ARC have send me a schematic and a parts list. I only need to swap 6 resistors but according ARC they need to be MK3 type resistors.
Does anyone know what these are and where to get them?

thanks,

Eric

Mk3s are 0.5W metal film resistors no longer manufactured by the German company Roederstein/Ero/Resista (now part of Vishay Group). Very famous years ago and used in many hi-end products, they are coated with navy blue laquer.
I think you can replace them with any good metal film resistor, but if you want them, take a look at www.percyaudio.com
Micahel Percy still has a good number of N.O.S. Resista.
