Default Custom-wound transformer sources?

I have a few projects I would like to put in 1-unit rack cases but if that's to happen I need suitable low-profile, custom transformers. Does anyone know of of a realible source for these? Specs:

- Power: 100-300VA
- Input: 115/230V, 50-60 Hz
- Output: 2-3 custom secondaries between 5-55V
- Preferably flexible leads and potted centre
- Max. height 36mm or so.
- Quantity: 2-5 pcs./type

I would of course prefer a European source, but I will look elsewhere if I have to (and suffer the costs...). For European sources, the catch usually is that manufacturers often only want to deal with registered companies, which I am not

Any help appreciated!

/U.

Amplimo in the Netherlands will wind custom toroids for you. I've handled with them before, not too expensive and you can just get a quote for what you want...

A transformer of rating 100VA - 300VA with a height of just 36mm seems difficult to manufacture.

thanks

There are plenty of manufacturers that offer 1U-transformers as part of their normal lineup, but the ones I know of refuse to deal with me either because of the low quantities or because I am not registered as a company.

Hi,
you can try Antrim and the italian Tector.
I'm finalizing a GB for a custom trafo for Pedja's DAC with Tector and they do trade with privates.

Cheers

Andrea
