Does anyone know where I can pick up a couple of IRF9640 transistors? Or possibly a suitable replacement. They are part of a complementary pair irf640/9640 in a Rockford fosgate 801s. I have already replaced most of one channel, but cannot find a vendor with these in stock. Rockford will only sell the entire rail for more than the amp is worth.
Thanks, Michael Hutchison |

Did you check what the International Rectifier web site says about where to buy IRF9640?
http://ec.irf.com/v6/en/US/adirect/i...uctID=IRF9640: Select our Country and click on "Check Availability". In the US, it is available from Digikey IRF9640PBF and Newark 06F8492 in single quanities for ~$2 each. BTW, Fairchild Semi SFP9640 is a substitute but not recommended for new designs, so may be hard to find. http://www.fairchildsemi.com/pf/SF/SFP9640.html |
