I don't have a pic yet, but I'll describe these: They are thin and flat 1/16 thick, and about 1"high x1.5" wide . They have an amber/black translucent look to them, and seem to be wirewound....around mica with gold radial leads on the extreme sides. ![]() They are mounted upright on a circuit board that says: Kelvin-Varley Voltage Divider.....from a Fluke unit. There are about 30 of them 100k, 20k, and 4k. .03% tol. I wonder what audio project I would use these in ??? A scarey audio project perhaps ?? =RR= |

I have some of those from older Fluke 'benchtop' DMM's..
Kind of odd little guys,I think they are preision resistors. The ones I have are basically like a piece of Mica (about the same size as a mica insulator for a transitor,but a little thicker.) With a few turns of gold-looking wire wrapped around them. A couple of them even have "taps" after 1-2 turns. |
