For example...

Id rather not have it on the ground wire. Also, look into line rated capacitors.

Thanks guys. I totally agree with the notion not to have it on the ground wire, when I build my power cords (with or with out the components listed here) I will never include it in a ferrite magnet. I never thought about it, but it would be stupid to have it in the magnet, thank you for bringing up an excellent point.
The filters are snazy but I would prefer to build my own with high quality wire if I where to do so. |
