I just bought the A1243 tip for my Hakko 903 iron. I'm a little confused about the calibration process.
The 929-2 instruction manual says to adjust the calibration pot to room temp, however the soldering tip packaging says to use the offset value. The A1266 tip that came with my iron is marked with a -38F offset value. In calibration mode, the station is set to 38. The new A1243 tip is marked with a -31F offset. What should the station be set to? |
