I need a small balanced power supply. The consumption of th original was 110 Volts 12 watts. Not sure of my actual demand. I'd like like someting simple if possible because I am an electronics novice. I was even consider using wall warts. I have plenty of them but don't know the circuitry. I have a couple of rack mount power supllies but they push 17 volts. Is that too high?

I am working on a Yamaha CS-15 Analog synthesizer(1970s). It has a number of issues including the power supply. I can't begin to repair it until I have a known good power source. The ICs in the original power supply are hard to get and cost will add up to more than I want to spend
