Default Maplins

Hi folks, whilst searching the Maplins website I found they are doing a clearance on 55-00-55 300VA trannies, only 4.95 each.

Chance to snap up a bargain for those Leach and ESP 3a constructors!

And possibly for Aleph P1.7 or BoSoZ...

Cheap enough to go overkill on the transformer...

Default Bargain!

Thanks Pinkmouse.
Just ordered 2 for 12.48 delivered!
Although I'm a valve person, I've always been curious how Nelson Pass's things sound. This gives me an good excuse to try a "brace".

BTW Theatre or TV?

Neither, exhibitions mostly, with some Rock 'n Roll and corporate.

Glad the info was of use, I ordered 2, with no particular project in mind, but on a matter of principal, ( I am a stingy Yorkshireman after all )

It going alright thanks...

I have to order my last few parts from RS (a diode I couldn't source anywhere, and the same for some resistors {!})

The power supply is puting out a perfect 63.1V but that will drop 7V when connected due to the MOSFETs. I need to get a divide by 10 cable for my NEW OSCILLOSCOPE(!!!) so I can actually see whats going on rather than relying on my crap multimetre.

I'll keep you posted...Pics after the 8th Nov (I'm giving my GF a digi camera cause I need one!)

Nice tip Mr Pinkmouse, Sir.

I also ordered two (which I don't actually need but just think how much I save if I do use them!).

Nice one,
David
