cd17 ki laser UNIT

i've a marantz cd17ki, that has developed a fault, some times it wont spin up on inserting a disc and sometimes stops playing about 2minutes into a disc.

so.

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE PART numbers ARE FOR THE LASER ASSEMBLY AND IF THEY ARE STILL AVAILABLE, AND IF NOT, WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS?

I would guess it is a CDM12.1, common & cheap.
I have a 1y old CD-14 (CDM-12.1 mec) to go cheap...

i finally found the unit type by searching through the old phillips service manuals, it's the 12.4.

i've sourced one already. thanks.
