Where do you guys get you knobs. I've been searching here and all of the suppliers I know of, and can't find a source for clean aluminum knobs with set screw mounts for 1/4" shaft
Any suggestions. |

I'm almost to the point of stealing the tuning knobs off of my 2 SX-3800's and SX-950
I would sacrifice one of them, but all of the other knobs are splined |

I would suggest having a look at vt4c which is run by a chap named Chung in Hong Kong.
I have sourced quite a number of components from him, including knobs, and can vouch for his integrity and service. Regards Bluesky |

The best 1/4" shaft, aluminum knobs I've seen are from Kilo. Check www.precisionsales.com, or, for a more confusing site, www.nteinc.com. I think the smallest ones start at about $3.00 each. Precision Sales also has a great 3-D photo that lets you compare the heights at a glance. If you don't like those, try www.action-electronics.com. Party on Garth.

This is one of the best (and my personal favorite) suppliers of antique radio supplies/tubes on the net-
Antique Electronics This knob is available there; it is for a 1/4" shaft with set screw starting at $3.50
