surface mount adapters

Where do I get a plug-in surface mount adapter for OPAMPs? I am nervous about slodering the OPA 627s adn i would like to mod my P3a DAC to replace the 134s.

Ideally, I would like to solder the adapter to each of the four OPAMP posts and then simply plug in the chips. This way, later upgrades/swaps are possible without melting the IC.

You may want to check Jameco here but they are expensive. Otherwise if you have PC prototyping capabilites (fine lines) then you can make them.

IC's can stand much heat. It's rather hard to damage it by heat.
