Need help for making a brigde or buying one somewhere.
Acoustic G100 gitar amplifier (4x6550 3x ecc 83 1x ecc 81) uses four diodes 1n4007 in a square soldered in series for rectifying. Current is unstable though so needs replacement Four freds would do or a bridge if existing .. Are the Freds as easy to solder on to each other as these 1n4007 or is that all different Where to get these. Max29 |

I have soldered right to the pins on my projects. I bend the end of the lead over it self, form an eye with the wire to be joined and then I put them together and solder. The hole thing gets finished off with shrink wrap around the solder joints.
Be sure to use a BIG heat sink as this method takes lots of heat to get a good joint. I find a surgical clamp or small locking pliers work well Hope this helps. You can see my project at [URL=http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=68506] |
