Since a few new topics have been about heatsinks, I wanted to ask:
Where are the best places to get power heatsinks (large ones)? My best bets have been on eBay, but sometimes I have to mold my designs to whatever I can get from eBay. Are there surplus dealers on the web? |

Hi,
I can't recall the seller but he/she sells on Ebay all the time. Lengths of inch deep at one or two feet long, black anodised or natural, cut to your lengths for free. He will quote for much longer lengths as well. Downside, only about 5inch wide, but two side by side or at opposite ends may do. Keep looking for others, much more choice on your side than ours

Don't forget www.conradheatsinks.com. I was charged only $15USD for shipping for 4 of their largest heatsinks to the US.

I also ordered some heatsinks from Conrad, and they're really great, good quality.
And as David said, shipping was quite cheap. Paul |
