Would it be worth placing one of these before the transformer of an amplifier. possibly on the mains before power input?

I have the V series model 10VV1 (two V's not a W)
The unit is rated for 10A and the fuse on my amp is rated at 8.7A. Schematics are in the PDF.
Thanks,
Paul

I have one in the power supply for my amp that was salvaged from a UPS that is very similar to the one you have. It's also rated at 10A but I replaced the fuse with a smaller one. They do help filter out the RF junk on the line and the stuff some amps spit back out. That's a fairly nice feature to have, especially if a toroidal transformer is used in your power supply.
Hey BWRX,
Thanks for the input. Right now, I have an isolation transformer before the power input on the amp. I was thinking of wiring this filter in line with that, but I'm wondering if it would do anything since the iso xformer is there anyway.
I guess it can't hurt to try though!
