Well, the Solens are not romantic like Jensen or Auricap but also much much faster than the most. I think they are very realistic and the price is really fair. If you want slooooooow and opiumized sound muddled in a wooly cloud than go for beewax/paper in oil/auricap - sleeping in front of the Stereo is not my cup of Darjeeling SFTGFOP first flush

Are you sure you meant to say Auricap and not Hovland? I agree that Jensens are romantic, but Auricaps are the fastest, most neutral caps I've heard. Certainly faster and more neutral than Solen.

Pardon, but you can't be serious. Auricaps are slow, muddled and uninvolving with a rather woody bass. When I would be a canadian, I would proud about the high quality and low price of the Solens.
Vive la Canada!
Never seen Electronic Concept caps? Those seems to be one of the highest performing caps in the world in we mean measured preformance. I have never any brand being able to handle more current than those.

To answer your question: I have no idea. I'll suspect that some heavy duty industrial capacitor is better like some RIFA PHE425 and similar types.
