Default Cheep blue leds

Yesterday I noticed some of those led key chain lights at my
local convience store, in blue for $1.99! This looks like it may be
a cheaper source than ordering a couple from Digikey.

The other day I bought a minuture Star Wars laser sword that consists of a perspex rod with a white led at one end for AUS$3.00.
A white Led at reduced current ought to look good on a front panel IMO.

I have a question...
Why did you buy a starwars toy?

and if was for a child...Why did you take it apart!
