How to recap a mixer?
hello all,
I'm beginning to do some tech work in my studio and need to learn a bit about recapping a Neotek Series 2 console. What caps are replaced in such a procedure? Should I look to upgrade said caps? Should I also look into recapping the power supply? Any and all recommendations are welcome! Thanks for the help in advance... Tommy |

You should look at replacing all of the small electrolytic caps in the channel strips. Also, if you have the schematic, I would recomment reeplacing all of those ceramic coupling/blocking caps with poly's.
