Anyone know where I can get hold of a
1mh variable inductor, 3A or higher from a supplier in the UK Thanks LeakST20 |

Iron cored, or is the mu too variable?
At any rate, good luck finding an adjustable. I don't think something like that (let me guess, tuning speaker x/o?) is very useful as a stock part. Tim

Well, maybe a the original poster needs it for evaluating the best value otf the inductor in a test and later replace the virable inductor with a fixed value one.
in this case: Go for the surplus markets or garage sales. Inductance "diddle" boxes is the one you should go for. GE, R&S etc. manufacture well handicrafted ones. But be prepared for a high price ;-) hth Andreas |
