hi everyone,

anybody know a good source of inexpensive (maybe used or surplus) variacs? i need one on my test bench to ramp up AC line voltage for amplifier testing... any self-contained unit with a 2 amp or greater rating should do the trick.

All Electronics has a 3amp variac for $45.00. Thinking about buying one myself. I ordered a large surplus heatsink from them they seem to have prompt service. http://www.allelectronics.com/cgi-bi...805&type=store
