I'm looking for 5 pieces each of sap08NY and sap08PY for my Sherwood AV receiver but I can't find them arround.
Anybody can help me? They are available at some online parts supplier, but I can't buy 5 pieces (500 USD min). Javen |

As you probably know these are Sanken transistors.
Try dropping them a friendly mail. /Hugo

Thanks Leo, but I can't find them in the list. The only darlingon they have is SAP15.
I'm wondering what modification should I make if I want to replace this SAP08 with SAP15. Any body has an idea? Javen |

Hello all,
Does anyone know what the most likely cause of my sherwood av amp beginning to power up from standby and then immediately going back to standby along with loud clicks. I am ok with soldering and replacing parts but need some pointers in the right direction.
