No, The elctros are also between the + and - PS pins but two in series and the middle connection to gnd. The film cap is in parallel with two series connected electros. Just because there is a gnd connection in the middle doesn't preclude the fact that they are parallel connected. Cheers Terry |

But it is always good to ask the question and try the snubber on regular OPA to see if there is any difference. I rarely use OPA's now so probably will not try this anytime soon. I have tried regular parallele bypass configs and usually find 1 x high quality electro is better. However this is for (relatively) slower OPA's such as 627 etc Cheers, Terry |

From what I have briefly read here in this thread, is that this is about an upgrade for a mixing console. There is a mixer design I would like to build, but since I am NOT a "circuit designer", I need some assistance. (However, I am quite capable of performing the necessary mechanical and Printed Circuit Board designs required!!).
I wish to build an audio mixer with the following specifications: 1 - 24-Channel unit. 2 - A) Line-level inputs B) ADAT-inputs in addition is optional (but, desirable) 3 - Each input shall have: A) Input level control (rotary-type) B) Pan control (rotary-type) C) Solo switch (push-on / push/off) D) "Solo On" LED 4 - Channel summing to "Stereo Out" 5 - Two separate headphone outputs with common level control 6 - "Stereo Auxiliary Out" with a ganged stereo level control 7 - "Stereo Master Out" with a ganged stereo level-control and stereo LED metering 8 - Low-noise power supply (will be using toroid transformer due to space constraints) Perhaps those reading this wonder why I just don't buy such a mixer? The reason why is because I want to electronically package this mixer into a very small and customized enclosure. If anyone out there knows of an already existing set of schematics, by all means let me know where they are!! Otherwise, could someone help me? JBWilliams Midnight_Blue_Studios@yahoo.com / |
