Who makes good ADC, DAC and CODEC?

I am looking at all the possibilities for a 8CH A to D and 8CH D to A converters.

The possiblities cover use of ADC & DAC and CODEC

The requirement is 24/96 or better.

Who offers the best choices between AD, TI and Cirrus?

What combination would you suggest?

Ask for more details if required!

AKM and Wolfson are 2 more names

you could look into high quality sound cards, see what's inside a Lynx

Alright, this is my first post in this forum, but I think that these are great products. My suggestion is to take a look at AKM Semiconductors.

These are what is used in the MOTU HD192, among others.
