Looks like the problem is that you have the sweep module plugged into a verticle amplifier slot! Put the sweep module into the right slot and a vert amplifier into the left slot. Not sure what that other module you have on the left is. With my scope I couldn't get any response with the sweep module plugged into the center slot. shown in the next photo. I have 2- 7A26 vert. modules and one 7B53 sweep module in my scope.

Well I gues im all wet . Did it work when you switched the modules ?
It still seemed that there was no horizontal deflection from the picture |

Yea, put the 7A26 in the left compartment nd the sweep in the right compartment. Leave out that odball module till we figure out what it is...... I saw that scope on E-Bay...... Do you have a link to that auction?
