Default source for cirrus logic (crystal) chips

where can i buy digital audio chips (i/o interfaces, a/d and d/a converters) from cirrus logic (crystal semiconductors) in low quantities at a low price?
i was not able to get any samples from cirrus logic (the local cirrus logic distributor refused to send them to me for free and offered them at about 10x the price of the cirrus logic ads and above, and for some chips with minimum order of 500pcs)
so i should pay more than $2000 for the 12 samples. (price according to cirrus logic is below $50)
thanx for your help!
