If you don't find a 4 terminals volume control , you can use a normal (3 terminal ) log pot of 20KOhms and letting the point where the 4 terminal was connected in the PCB, unconnected. Usually this 4 terminal, is for forcing the pot to be less sensible at lower volume levels...and sometimes for a loudness compensation depending of the position of the volume pot. But in a desperate case ,you can pass without... Ci veddiamo!

Thank you fo your reply.
According to you the original pot is a linear or a log one? (I've read somewhere that B is for linear). If so you suggest to replace it with a log one without take care of the loudness tap ? Have I to shortcicuit something on the pcb or not? thank you |
