Enclosure Feet

I"m chasing 100+ quantities of attractive plastic feet for amps, something like the ones used on many CD/DVD Players. They should be 1.5-2" in diameter, and about 3/8" deep, with a central hole for attachment.

Any ideas?

The thing that's always driven me crazy about feet is that they aren't "feet." For some reason, I keep finding them called "bumpers" in catalogs and online sites (mind you, I've always called 'em feet, but I've always gotten blank stares when I asked for feet around here). Granted, that's here in the States; I have no idea what you folks would call them down there. With a little luck, a different search term like that might help you locate something that suits you.

Knowing precisely what to call a part is a PITA for all of us; is it a box, an enclosure, or a case? Some even call feet 'pucks'.

Anyone else got any ideas? I've googled exhaustively, not much to report......

I just recently (within the last week or so) ran across someone having large-ish feet like that, but can't remember who at the moment. ApexJr, MPJA...someone like that. I'll try to remember. Time for this tired little puppy to roll into bed. All my brain cells have punched their time cards and gone home and I'm no use to anyone in this condition.

Hugh, have you looked at Jaycar's HP0834? Not particularly cheap at their retail stores, but they might be cheaper if you bought them in large quantites from their wholesale arm (which I forget the name of).

Yes, that's the sort of thing I'm after, no question. However, I have a rough idea what these things cost in quantity - I've done a bit of business with Jaycar - and so I'll decamp the search to Taiwan!

I'm leaning towards the spoofy ones with a metal ribbon around the circumference. It's a tall order finding them, though.

I've used few different kinds of rubber feet (bumbers?) and seem to be greasy. They stain wood and other porous materials. I managed to ruin my veneered table

Always in AUD, NEVER US....... We cling to our currency as stubbonly as the British these days....... Being at the posterior of the world helps, of course.

However, the flight of the bumble dollar has taken the AUD to almost right at 80c US - so the saving is not so great. Perhaps we could try looking around Taiwan where they are no doubt available at about a third the cost?

Rubber Feet

I'll try again....
I was at my other warehouse and found these:
There 1 3/8" top tapers up to 1 5/8" Bottom
Metal insert and 5/8" Tall they are rubber and
are .75ea and do have the 100 you need..
probably have about 300 in stock....
