Hi Bill,
They look identical to some I used a few years ago. They worked great, no noise or no deterioration over time, and tracking seemed good although I didn't measure it or anything. I'd say they're worth the $10 ea. |

I bought the RH2702 and this one is made from very tiny resistors, some carbons, some metal film (!). I measured them. They´re precise to the 0.1ohm from left to right ch if I remember.
I read somewhere that somebody bought other than the RH2702 and found it to be just a normal dented carbon track pot, and not as balanced. And they´re not Alps as advertized, but OEM here: http://www.cxzhenwei.com/english/cpzs-pro01.htm Nevertheless they´re good made and sounding, but I sometimes hear some switching noise on the right channel. I believe it can be erradicated bypassing the pot with a 100k or so resistor per channel, but I can live with the noise and haven´t tried this yet. Edit: Beware the metal shaft dimensions are not standard. Great ebayers, BTW. Cheers.
