I am looking for a source to purchase toggle switches.
The style switch is similar to whats found in old Pioneer gear like in the picture. I had a few vintage Pioneer pieces years ago and remember the switches had a great feel to them with excellent action. I like the old style toggle switches that require a slot cut into front panel to move the switch up and down. Is anyone making such a switch anymore? I know I can purchase the switch from Oak Tree Ent (they part-out vintage gear), but for the switches in the photo they want $30 each and $12 for the caps. I was hoping to find a more economical solution and new parts. |

Haunt flea markets and goodwill shops for an old unit to part out yourself.
Short of that, many manufacturers make slider switches, but the knob is still very likely going to cost you a bit if you can't find one off the shelf.
