I think it works the same here, being that I'm not an electrician.
But if I understand it correctly, if you hook up your audio gear on the same line, you will get a sonic improvement if you hook up the hot AC phase to the hot transformer phase in the audio gear. (Excuse me if my lingo is off.) It will result in lower capacitance, for one. So in effect, AC power is "directional." This obviously involves some work, checking the power outlet and open up the audio gear. (At least you guys in America only have to do it once, being that you can only hook up grounded power jacks one way. Figuring the wires in the power cord aren't crossed, that is.) But unlike lots of other tweaks and mods, this is said to be all physics. Not that I would know. I was told there's some old thread about it here. |
