Hi all,

I'm looking for a digital potentiometer/trimmer (single channel) that I could managed with a PIC.
The idea is to send a command to this potentiometer to increase or decrease the value of the resistor.

It might be something equivlaent to the TDA1074A, but this part is a dual potentiometer. I want a single one.:bawling:

Any idea?;)

Many people like the TI PGA2311 (and probably an equal number do not like it!). It is two channel, but that's still a lot better fit than the TDA1074A. Try a search in the digital forum.

For non-audio use, you could try the MCP41xxx from Microchip (the people who make the PIC). They are single, 256 step linear-taper digital pots. Simple to interface with the PIC and dirt cheap too.
