Default Need this chip youíre my last resource

(I live in Queensland Australia) I need a chip for a power supply I have thatís dead, the chip is a sm02659e can I get this any where? This is my last resource, I have no circuit diagram donít really need one.
I hope you can help thanks

Sorry its 5m02659r the chip is well toasted itís in a power supply out of a Teac dvd player model NO. dv-2120 I know its **** and a throwaway but its worth a try
can I modify that section of the power supply?

Tou mean the Fairchild KA5M02659RN 2A/650V 70KHz Power Switch? Presented in datasheet


You can try ordering directly from Fairchild, or try to request a sample. Otherwise, contact Fairchild to find retailers in your area.
