Hi,
I am trying a small project that has a ready Eagle schematic. I need to find a nice, but not too expensive for student place to print a pcb. Preferably Toronto area, but if shipping is involved in any way, Canadian manufacturers will be fine. Somewhere, where you would order youself. The board is quite small, about 3x4 inches Also, I am not too familiar with places to buy parts in Toronto area (maybe even Etobicoke or DT Toronto). I know several stores, but it would be nice if you have some suggestions/links where I can order stuff. Here are some of the items I would need. I've heard of Digikey online store, but that's in usa. How are the shipping charges and other fees to ship to Toronto, if you've bought from them? CF Ejector Compact Flash Socket USB Connector Audio Jack PIC Microcontroller (18F452) MP3 Decoder Chip (STA013 from STMicro) Push Switches Volume Switch Switches 1206 caps and resistors Schottky Diode SMB Bead trimpot Thanks for the help! |

any idea where I can print two-layered boards in Toronto for cheap? (maybe student rate)
Similar to US places like: https://www.barebonespcb.com/!BB1.asp, 33Each.com , FreeDFM.com and https://www.4pcb.com/!33each1.asp, where you can get a 60sq.in. board for $33 ($50 after shipping) with soldermask and top silkscreen. Thanks |

AP Circuits in Calgary is cheap, fast and good. Mind you, cheap is in the mind of the beholder but their P1 service is excellent. They have automated on line ordering and you can get a price quote to the penny of theor web site with no hassle, including shiping.
http://www.apcircuits.com/ They also ship to the USA with no hassle. I have used them many times and have never failed to be totally satisfied with the boards Now if my circuits I build on the boards worked so well.

You can try www.pcbexpress.ca
I've not used them but their peices seem ok. As for places to buy parts, both Digi-key and Newark InOne have flat rate $8.00 cdn shipping. There is also Electro-Sonic in TO, there prices are better, but shipping is $10.00 One note though when ordering from DK or Newark, make sure your on the Canadian website or the order won't got through. http://www.digikey.ca http://canada.newark.com/ www.e-sonic.com |

Thanks for the info,
I am going to stick with Digi-key for now. Also, are there any parts stores in the area around Royal York subway station that are worth visiting? Thanks |
