Im building an 8 channel amp for my orions based on linkwitz's design. I have some questions on parts to use.
220 uF 35V electrolytic Capacitor: I was planning on using the same type used in the crossover (Digikey P10297) but I noticed the tolerance is 20%!?!?. Anything better or is 20% ok? I was thinking since I have to use 2 of these for 4 opamps they could all differ by a lot. RCA Phono Connectors: I wanted to use some gold plated ones that I could somehow mount to a 1/4" plywood, either with a plate I can screw into the wood or the kind with the nut on the back. Gold Binding Posts: It would be great if I could find them in pairs or individually that could be mounted similar to the RCA connectors mentioned above. Question: If I mount 6 RCA connectors and 16 Binding Posts to a piece of plywood, will there be interfearance? DPST Power Sitch for 10A: A I need a sturdy switch that can also be mounted as above. If my descriptions of the mounting method didnt make sense check out Digikey Q210-ND and http://www.switchcraft.com/products/..._schematic.pdf |

Partsconnexion carries cheap RCAs and binding posts (Connex): http://www.partsconnexion.com/catalog/connectors.html
The quality is surprisingly good.
