I have few inductors. It has 820uh and 220uh wirrten on it.However it looks like a resistor. i.e the shape looks like a resistor. It is sealed hence I dont know how exactly this might have been fabricated. Can any one let me know what type of iductors are these. They dont look like Surface mount type.

I generally had an impression that inductors will be wound on some material that constitues as its core.In this case I am not able to figure out anything.
Are these inductors good enough to be used for a passive filter??

What kind of passive filter? If you're talking about a loudspeaker crossover network, no. Rdc = 7.7 ohm for the 0.47mH (470uH) choke.
