laser onkyo dx 706

please, the laser of my onkyo dx 706 is breack, but i not know the model,the brand. which help MY?

Try and look on the laser itself for markings , many units use Sony
pick ups they have a KSS number on them example KSS -271A

thanks, but on my laser is write : spu 3013 51y4434 q3516a i not understand! whats you have write on your laser of dx 706 Plaese look the pics, This is my laser .

A few years ago Onkyo ran out of spare units for these players. Not only the DX706 was affected but many other types as well.
I was the happy guy who actually bought the last available one in Belgium and put it in my DX6800. In that same period a few of my customers had a failing unit and I was unable to help them.
Onkyo then tried to satisfy the customers with a new Integra model they could buy for €100.
So if anyone has some NOS of these lasers I gladly buy a couple of them.

a curiousity question ...

my service manual for the DX706 lists SPU-3011 as the optical pickup part number.

the DX788F uses the SPU-3013.

luigilamarca shows SPU-3013 in his DX706.

so it appears the SPU-3013 is a valid replacement for the SPU-3011
