So I got this small SMD capacitor from www.reichelt.de and they say it is 25V.
I have also downloaded the datasheet provided and there is no 100N capacitor with X7R dielectric rated at 25V. They are either 50V or 100V. Does anyone know whether this is 25V or 50V? Link to the product: http://www.reichelt.de/index.html?AC...RTIKELID=31879 To see the datasheet click on the Datenblättern link. |

Hi.
I looked the part up in the catalogue, 25V is correct. From 1,5N-47N they are rated at 63V. karahara |

scheit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Talking about soldering the wrong parts(24) Hrmmm... good that I asked, as I was sure they are 50V since the datasheet doesn't include them. Can it be that they are wrong? Where the heck can I get x7r 100n 50V? scheeeeeeiiiiiiiiit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

The X7R-G1206 100N does not fit? This part is 63V, but an other Case Code(1206 instead of 0805).

I bought todays some 100nF/50V from the local store.
Much to my surprise they are physically smaller than the 100nF/25V I already have. Can anyone explain this? They are both 805 parts. |

Electrons are yellow and more is better!

In a couple of places you really need 50 volts rating so you must get 50 V caps. Have you checked www.elfa.se The art no is in the partslist.
Notice also that you can choose other material than X7R.

The caps from reichelt are 50V!
I emailed them and they updated their website. So, I was lucky, my intuition was good enough |
