Default capacitor charge question

Hi all,

Rrecently I reform some large can capacitors, I notice some caps hold the charged voltage much longer than others. For example there's one that have voltage drop from 40 to 0 in an hour while the others would have only 3 v drop in 24 hours. Can someone enlighten me on this condition. Thanks for the help.

Tom

yeah I also have some large can capacitors that hold their charge for quite a while...

If they discharge quickly they are probably old and the electrolyte has broken down or something...
