I'm thinking to do some point to point circuit and I think as teflon as support material as this would help in complex schematics assembly, if there is enough interest to make up the minimun order I have a company that can try them but they need to know what kind of teflon with dielectric factor, thickness etc..

Have they told you how many zeroes will be in the cost yet?
Incidentally, I thought teflon was known for having pads/traces that are very easily lifted. Probably a poor choice for prototyping. |

Since he is talking about point to point I think he wants a sheet of teflon with lots of holes on it. Like Veroboard I think its called? Not traces I think.
It would be helpful to give a approximate price for different sizes quantities. I for instance, would be interested, but it totally depends on the price. I was thinking of using something like this to hardwire a Pass Balanced preamp, but if it costs more than just buying the PCBs I might not bother. |

What are you going to solder on? I have been using teflon boards with brass standoffs bolted to them with generally good results. Not very elegant but certainly better sounding than fibreglass boards.
