Default AD824... AD826 no AD825?

I was "disconnected" for a while and had to look in a databook from 1996 where I discovered that Analog Devices had AD823, 824, 826, 827 828 etc. but not AD825.

Nowadays they have AD825 but what about then? Did AD stop making the AD825 for a while?

The AD 825 are good ops , ofcourse that depends for what are they used. I put them in my Rotel RCD990 cd player as a I/V converter and work wonderfuly thah yob. I love them in whole analog section. Resolution and smoothness in one pacage!!

It works pretty good in a Jung Regulator.

My question was only why there was a gap in the numbers.

That's their main problem, a recessed midband, not neutral.
May go well with some tastes and/or systems.

Isn't it too noisy for that?
NE5534 may do better in that role.
P-A, I think that the AD825 is more recent than 1996, that's why it doesn't figure in your book.
