Hi all
My name is Yair and this is my first post in DIY. I am now in search for a motorized pot that will replace ALPS Black in my old Naim preamp. The space I have available is 50mm by length. This means that the ubiquitous ALPS Blue (RK-27) will NOT fit in there. The other option I have is the smaller ALPS RK-16. Questions: 1. is it any good? 2. any other choices? Thanks for any help! I've got a Rotel preamp that uses an ALPS 16mm 50K motorised pot (probably an OEM version) and seems quite good. Compared to the RK27112MC that I used in another Rotel, sounds similar to me with no nasties.
