Default looking for afordable toroidal transformer

I am having a tough time purchasing a toroidal transformer. I contacted RS India in Mumbai and the price for a 25-0-25 v 225VA is Rs 3500/-. That is about 76 US$ excluding postal charge. Can anyone help me on this matter and tell me some sources (probably from outside india) where I can purchase in a cheaper rate.

Thanks in advance...

Not too helpful for Roushon, but Parts Express has a 25V + 25V 250VA toroidal transformer for USD$42.

You can save even more if you just buy direct from Avel. 250va is under $40.

Hi Carondimonio,

Thank you very much for telling me about this source. Actually I already sent e-mail to them and got no reply. And then thought I should ask people here.
I will try to contact them again.

Regards.

I wouldn't say so, I can get that sort of thing from Farnell here for much less than 30 inc delivery. 30 is roughly US$54.
